A record 250 delegates attended the REPs’ National Convention in Birmingham on Thursday, 22nd September, as part of Leisure Industry Week. The convention included a key note presentation from consultant musculoskeletal physiotherapist Laura Finucane on non-specific back pain as well as practical workshops including ones on Kettlebell training and blastfx.
One delegate said: “I attended the Convention at the NEC yesterday and I have to say I thought it was absolutely ‘awesome’ to quote Pete Cohen’s American generalisation! All the keynotes and workshops I attended were fantastic and very valuable. I have come away with lots to research further.”
The National Convention co-incided with Leisure Industry Week (LIW) where REPs had a stand. REPs Registrar Jean-Ann Marnoch said: “We were delighted by how many of our members took the time to come to our National Convention and come by and see the team on the REPs’ stand at LIW.”
