NEW – the REPs app

The REPs team has been working with app developers to create an official REPs app (for iphones).

The app, which will be free to download, will be available to all but will include special additional features which will be exclusively available to REPs members only.

Full details of the app and its functionality will be launched at LIW so come along to find out more!

Don’t miss out and meet the team

The REPs three-day convention has been listed as one of the top 10 reasons for visiting LIW by the show’s organisers.

Event co-ordinators at Leisure Industry Week, held at the NEC in Birmingham from Tuesday 18th September to Thursday 20th September, described the convention as: “bursting at the seams with dedicated keynotes and interactive workshops to keep you up-to-date with what makes your clients tick.”

As well as the convention they also cited the 300 plus exhibitors, 100 planned new product launches, special guests including Olympians Greg Searle, Gails Emms and Beth Tweddle, and the Fitness Industry Association’s Independent Operators Unite Forum as their top-pick reasons to visit.

REPs will also have a stand at the LIW show so come and meet the team at H665. You can sign up for an interactive demonstration of activepassport and see more of the REPs iphone app.

There’s still time to get last minute tickets for the REPs convention (which includes entry to the show for delegates) but places are going fast. For the first year REPs members can choose to mix and match which days and/or sessions they attend. Click here for full booking details and timetables including special discounts for Thursday’s event (September 20th).

any chance of an android app? There are many more people using android than iOS, so would increase your reach no end.

iphone? Is that what your developers have been working on instead of getting the basics (your website) working?
But yes, if you develop an iphone app, then an android version should also be offered.
Just get your priorities straight first!!! (i.e. website)

  3. Be nice to see it, but sadly can’t find it in the app store search

  4. Agree totally with Cis – the website needs serious attention. We’ve been promised the new Active Passport for months now and still it has not been delivered. Come on REPs – get your house in order!!!

Come on REPs get your act together and sort out the website and the active passport before you roll out ‘New’ ideas. Please also explain why you have just alienated at least half your paying members by only making the app available to iphone users – what about android?

    • Thanks for taking the time to respond to our article. With regards to the website and activepassport, please do bear with us. We’re going through a technical overhaul/ upgrade process at the moment and have just moved offices so are experiencing a few technical issues – however our team is on the case and we hope to resolve them as soon as we can.

Our research prior to developing the app revealed that the largest proportion of REPs members use iPhones hence our decision to launch this version initially. We will be assessing the app post-launch and look into other opportunities to develop an android version.
